My name is Jane, and I have lived at a mobile home park for over 25 years. About four years ago, I broke my back, which made me lose a lot of weight. At that time, my doctor took me off of pills that I had been taking for high blood pressure.
Recently, Sister Miriam came to my house to do a blood sugar and blood pressure screening. My blood sugar was normal, but Miriam found that my blood pressure was very high and advised me to start taking medication again. I knew that she was right and that I needed more medication because I could feel that I had a problem. I went back to a different doctor and got my prescription.
Now, I have my blood pressure under better control. I really appreciate that Sister Miriam came to my home because of my back injury. I hope that they can continue to come to Park Hill and serve people like me.
