Who We Are

Who We Are

There is a call for global solidarity. There is a call for just peace among all men and women.

-Catholic Social Teaching

We are a diverse group of nuns, lawyers, educators, counselors, social workers, and students who have joined together to celebrate and support the self-worth of people in our community. Each of us brings a unique perspective and expertise to our efforts to end the cycle of violence, poverty, and lack of education that affects so many women and their families.

We  provide a wide array of programs for the underserved in our community, regardless of their race, faith, cultural background, or ability to pay. Through the efforts of our staff and volunteers, Holy Cross helps over 6,000 people every year—a number that continues to grow. We exist because of the need for compassionate, high-quality service in the community, and we are committed to addressing this community need far into the future.
